How do I get to Newport from New York? +
Motorcoach transportation will be provided from New York City (Midtown Manhattan) on Tuesday, July 22. Departure times and pickup locations will be communicated via the event app and a pre-event email. The journey is approximately 3 hours. If you prefer to drive or arrange your own travel, Newport is accessible via I-95 N to Route 138 E.
I am traveling from London or Paris — what should I know? +
International guests should fly into T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Providence, RI, which is approximately 30 minutes from Newport. Meet & greet service and ground transportation will be arranged from PVD. Please ensure your travel details are entered accurately during registration so the logistics team can coordinate your arrival transfer.
I am traveling from Menlo Park — what is the best route? +
Guests from the Menlo Park office should fly into T.F. Green Airport (PVD) or Boston Logan (BOS). Ground transfers will be coordinated from both airports. Please enter your flight details during registration.
Where will I be staying? +
Guests will be accommodated at either the Newport Marriott Hotel & Spa (25 America’s Cup Avenue) or the Newport Harbor Island Resort (Goat Island). Hotel assignments will be confirmed via email prior to the program. Both properties are situated on Newport Harbor and are within easy walking distance of the event venues.
Is parking available at the hotels? +
Yes, parking is available at both hotels. Details on parking access will be included in your pre-event confirmation email. We strongly encourage guests traveling from New York to use the provided motorcoach service.
When does activity registration open? +
Activity registration will open separately via a dedicated email invitation. You will be asked to select one activity for the Wednesday morning session (July 23). Activities fill quickly — please register as soon as the link is available.
Can I change my activity selection after registering? +
Activity changes may be accommodated based on availability. Please contact the event team at the email address below as early as possible. Changes cannot be guaranteed within 2 weeks of the event.
What should I wear for activities? +
Specific activity guidance will be included in your confirmation email. In general, comfortable athletic or casual attire is appropriate for morning activities. For water-based activities, a change of clothes is recommended. Sunscreen and sunglasses are strongly advised — Newport in July can be sunny and warm on the water.
What is the dress code for the Marble House evening event? +
Black Tie Optional. Guests are encouraged to dress elegantly for this landmark 20th Anniversary celebration. Cocktail attire is also appropriate. The event takes place outdoors on the Marble House grounds — ladies may wish to consider footwear suitable for a lawn setting.
What is the dress code for the ITHF evening? +
Smart Casual / Resort Casual. The ITHF evening is a relaxed outdoor event. Chinos, blazers, summer dresses, and resort wear are all appropriate. Comfortable footwear is recommended as the event takes place on grass courts.
Is the Belle Mer dinner open to all guests? +
The Belle Mer Senior Banker Dinner on Monday evening is by invitation only and is reserved for Partners, Managing Directors, and Principals. All other guests are welcome to explore Newport on Monday evening — a list of recommended restaurants and activities will be provided.
Will there be a mobile app for the event? +
Yes. A dedicated event app will be available for download prior to the program. The app will include the full agenda, activity details, hotel information, maps, and real-time updates. Download instructions will be sent via email approximately two weeks before the event.
What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies? +
Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies in the registration form. Our catering teams at all venues have been briefed to accommodate common dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, and halal requirements. For severe allergies, please contact the event team directly.
